A discovery of Barn Owl (Tyto alba guttata) in Krivoy Rog

The communication describes the first discovery of Barn Owl (Tyto alba guttata) in the town of Krivoy Rog in Dnepropetrovsk region during spring (3.03.2002). The species has not been earlier registered in the center of Ukrainian steppe zone.
