New data on Shelduck (Tadorna tadorna L.) breeding in Dnepropetrovk region

The communication describes the first case of Shelduck breeding in Dnepropetrovsk region, Krivoy Rog area. The Shelduck has not been earlier included in a list of breeding species of Dnepropetrovsk region. The breeding area is located in a system of flooded cay quarries and precipitation dislodgers of metallurgical complex created in the steppe hollow.
