Greenish Warbler in the Kharkov region

From 1995 to 1999 eight records of Greenish Warbler (Phylloscopus trochiloides) were made. Singing territorial males were seen in the central park of Kharkov city: 2.06-7.06.95 (one male); 30.05-16.06.98 – 4 males.9.06-20.06.98 a single male sang in another city park. Two singing males were recorded 14-15.06.99 in the Zmievski district near village of Gaidary in a maple-lime forest on the right hank of Severski Donetz river. A brood of five fledglings with a female was observed here on 18.06.99.
