Endencies and dynamics of wind power sector developmant in Ukraine

In 2013 authors of the article, experts of Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (UWEA) completed the assessment of a long-term development of wind energy sector in Ukraine based on the studies covering last 17 years. These studies are based on a survey of all wind power plants being operated in Ukraine and having been constructed since 1997 with state and private investments. As a part of these researches there have been completed two years study on “Licensing Procedure for Construction of Energy Generating Objects that Generate Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources” in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine. Based on the collected data there has been prepared an analytical overview of the wind energy sector in Ukraine for the year 2013.
