Migration of birds of prey in the Skadov district of Kherson region in October 1992

The data presented in the article refer to observations and number of 16 birds of prey species. All the species were registered during the migratory period from an observation point in the Skadov district of Kherson region in October 1992. They were Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) – 6 birds; Honey Buzzard (Pernis apivorus)  – 1 bird; Hen Harrier and Montagu′s Harrier (Circus cyaneus, C. pygargus) – 80 birds; Marsh Harrier (C. aeruginosus)  – 13 birds; Goshawk (Accipiter gentilis) – 3 birds; Sparrowhawk (A. nisus) – 545 birds; Rough-legged Buzzard (Buteo lagopus) – 4 birds; Buzzard (B. buteo) – 16 birds; Eagle sp. (Aquila sp.) – 1 bird; White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) – 1 bird; Saker (Falco cherrug) – 3 birds; Hobby (F. subbuteo) – 25 birds; Merlin (F. columbarius) – 12 birds; Red-footed Falcon (F. vespertinus) – 2 birds; Kestrel (F. tinnunculus) – 33 birds.
