То the question of status of Moustached Warbler Lusciniola melanopogon in Ukraine.

E.A.Diadicheva.

Information about the present distribution of Moustached Warbler (Lusciniola melanopogon) in Ukraine is summarized and supplemented. The stable breeding area of Moustached Warbler at the Azov-Black Sea coast of Ukraine is known at present solely in the Danube-Dniester region and just it supports numbers of the Ukrainian population (at the level about 100-500 pairs). Territory of the Crimea lies in the area of break between western and eastern parts of the species breeding range, but birds of the eastern populations (breeding out of Ukraine) may occur in the Steppe Crimea during migrations. The first case of capturing (by a mist-net) Moustached Warbler (supposed L. m. albiventris) in the Eastern Sivash during autumn migration is described (21.10.2006; Dzhankoy Region, CrimeaAR).
